A have a laptop toshiba p100-349, this laptop no sound until this
version kernel. The sound now work fine but the brightness is out
control. It only wants to stay at full capacity. In my case when I run
virtualbox.
My video grafic is: Intel GMA 950
my kernel is: 2.6.24-16-generic
A think it is a acpi problem.
$ cat /proc/acpi/video/GFX0/DD04/brightness
levels: 100 42 0 14 28 42 56 70 84 100
current: 0
but change to
current: 100
