Of course I disaggree. The answer is not satisfactory.
Does Canonical support only the default installation or all packages in their
repository the user can possibly install additionally?
If not stated explicitly the kde related packages are supported the same way
like other ubuntu packages.
If I do this something like this in ubuntu:
apt-get install -y kde kdm
/etc/init.d/kdm start
I have ubuntu + KDE, all from ubuntu repository. How long period is such
installation supported by security patches and other bug fixes?
3 years or 18 months?
