Public bug reported:
I am using Ubuntu 8.04, normally with Nvidia drivers. For this problem, I have
tried it with and with nvidia drivers installed. and Xorg.conf reset.
Whenever I have a fresh default state of Gnome-panels, I can logout as normal
using the applet in Main Menu/Gnome Menu.
Whenever I customize the gnome-panel, X crashes when I attempt to use the
applet in main menu to logout/restart/etc.
I can provide any logs necessary to reproduce this bug.
