Binary package hint: qemu
On a lark, I tried to create a 27 terabyte virtual disk with qemu-img.
With RAW format it works OK. With QCOW2 format it segmentation faults.
The commands I ran:
qemu-img create -f raw bar.qemu 27000G
qemu-img create -f qcow2 foo.qemu 27000G
(I don't actually need such a big file, I just wanted to know how big
the QCOW2 file becomes for an empty disk.)
