Jonathan, that is exactly what i did first and tryed again and again, both typeing the command and performing a "copy and paste" from the instructions page, including the "". Only when this didn't work i tryed to run the command in two differnt ways, none of which worked. One is documented above; the other attempt was from Dolphin where I selected the cdromupgrade command file and selected the option to run it as root.
