Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager

When I plug in my external, luks encrypted disk, Ubuntu asks for the
passphrase and succesfully opens the Luks partition, however, it does
not seem to recognise that inside is an LVM volume which should also be
opened. I.e. one must manually run "vgchange -a y" to enable encrypted-
root and encrypted-swap (to mention the typically included volumes), and
of course ejecting the disk is annoying since it requires some manual
steps.

Expected behaviour: after opening the Luks partition, the volume manager
detects LVM volumes inside it, and activates those as well. Similarly,
ejecting the disk first closes the LVM volumes, then the Luks partition.

(Sorry for the terminology, don't remember exactly what LVM calls them,
but you know what I mean, it's the same as doing an encrypted Ubuntu
install - LVM inside Luks)

** Affects: gnome-volume-manager (Ubuntu)
