I have the same problem. Can't create subfolders in Thunderbird 2 using IMAP connection to UW- IMAP server.
To reproduce: 0) Using Thunderbird 2 on Gutsy, open IMAP connection to UW-IMAP server 1) Right click on a folder, select "New Subfolder..." 2) Name: "aabraham". Create as a subfolder of: "mysamplefolder". Ok. What should happen: I should now see my subfolder in the folder tree. What actually happens (the bug): I don't see my subfolder. No error message is shown. Closing and opening thunderbird does not help. The folder I created ("aabraham") does not show in subscribable folders either. I am using Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy amd64. Thunderbird version is 2.0.0.8~pre0710 (dpkg --list mozilla-thuderbird) or 2.0.0.6 (Thunderbird: Help: About). Server is University of Washington Imap server uw-imap running on Red Hat. I did not see this problem when I was using another server. -- Thunderbird version 2.0.0.12 (20080227) fail to create mail subfolder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/198244 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
