Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.24-16-generic
I have tested this with two identical devices. Both are working in
Windows XP with the provided drivers. Both previously worked under
Dapper with a kernel I patched manually with the usbvision drivers from
usbvision.sourceforge.net. After I have plugged in the device my system
becomes unstable, sometimes requiring cold reboot to recover.
USB device ID from Windows XP: VID_0573 PID_2101
After plugging in the device I get the following dump from dmesg:
