@Christophe: No it has nothing to with other applications using sqlite, like Amarok. I use Amarok to, but with mysql and I also experienced this bug. I also don't see the bug is closed with a workaround. It is still open and I am sure it will be fixed. Also RC1 is around the corner (although it seems to be delayed) and will will hopefully also have a fix of this problem.
