My system used to work fine when I was running Feisty. I recently upgraded to Hardy and, since then, everytime I go "System --> Logout" or simply click the shutdown button next to the system clock on gnome panel, I don't even get the options screen. The system simply hangs up. I can do ctrl+alt+backspace though. From GDM I'm able to shutdown and reboot.
