Exactly the same here on my X60! Before upgrading to Hardy the CPU stayed in C3 for over 90% and the power consumption was about 10W (uhci_hcd was loaded). Now it stays in C2 for about 60%, draining 14W. After unloading the module the CPU remains in C3 for about 95%.
