Public bug reported:
After upgrade from gutsy to hardy, on boot, my x-server freezes with a
black screen (and blinking cursor in upper left corner). The keyboard is
unresponsive, and the machine cannot be reached over the network. I have
to cut the power to restart.
I'm running 64 bit on an optiplex 745. The video card is intel GMA300.
I also tried the hardy live-CD and get the same crash.
