The problem is two-fold: i) the auto.net script ignores the access restrictions for a share, as described above and ii) mount.nfs doesn't give up on EACCESS, see bug 223885 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nfs-utils/+bug/223885) .
