** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

My preferences for my default profile specify that I do not want to see a
menubar or scroll bar, but when I rip out a gnome terminal tab the window has a
menu bar and scroll bar.
  The version is 2.22.1-0ubuntu2.
+
+ I have no idea how the above is not descriptive enough, but here is it
+ spelled out even more:
+
+ Specific behavior: I drag a tab out of the tabbed gnome terminal window
+ to create a new window for that tab.
+
+ Expected behavior: I don't want to see a menubar or scroll bar since it
+ is turned off in my preferences.
+
+ Actual behavior: I see the menubar and scroll bar! I am not happy with
+ the wasted pixels.

** Changed in: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu)
