If you are referring to localization, you will indeed need to install
the Firefox language/region package sperately, since it is not a program
controlled by the desktop environment.
If you are referring to spell checking abilities in Firefox, could you
please enlighten me and tell me how you have set that up, because it
doesn't seem to be turned on be default.

Firefox spell checker has no dutch dictionary, eventhough I install dutch
language support.
