Thanks for the reply, I've followed your blog on Ubuntu Planet for quite a while now especially in regards to the xrandr GUI.
I'm going to have to move back to 7.10 then, as I pretty much need my setup the way it is (or was, I should say). As it is right now, 8.04 breaks quite a few things for me and I guess I'll have to look forward to the Ibex. I do wonder if I missed something in the 8.04 release notes that outlined this and/or other functionality regressions?
