Hrm. Here we go again. :-( This is a "set top box" type of installation. When the machine boots, it should start mythbackend and mythfrontend during the boot. There is no keyboard and mouse. Nobody logs in. There is no need for all of that login and manager overhead. Perhaps this script that starts mythfrontend on boot on my machine could actually initiate the same process that a mythbuntu users initiates when he logs in at the login manager. Or I could just add irexec startup to said above script. I really would like mythbuntu to revisit this "set top box" mode of operation though, wherein I propose that neither a login manager nor window manager are needed or used.
