Hi Stregatto, Sorry for the delayed response. Do you still see this issue with the Hardy 8.04 Final release? If so, can you try booting with the 'quiet' and 'splash' options removed. Do you notice any error messages being output to your screen at the moment the system hangs? If so, would you be able to take a digital photo of your screen with these messages and attach it to this bug report? Thanks.
