You could restart your computer(without canceling your new install),waiting for the 8.04 to be loaded,and then use adept to load missing packages. In my case,that's worked pretty well for virtualbox,and my snapshot has been saved automatically. So,I wonder if my actual 1.5.6 virtual box is the good one,has it really been upgraded?
