** Description changed:
I just wanted to attach my DXDIAG from windows for hardware info and to
post a highlight of the CD booting issues with the EVGA nForce 780i
- motherboards. When booting to the livecd with the 32bit and the 64bit
- versions I can't boot into gnome and it ends at the login prompt in the
- console. I believe it is the nvidia drivers for the chipset and my
- creative sound card which people all over the linux world already know
- about.
+ motherboards. When booting to the livecd with the 64bit version I can't
+ boot into gnome and it ends at the login prompt in the console. I
+ believe it is the nvidia drivers for the chipset and my creative sound
+ card which people all over the linux world already know about.
I have installed other distributions as well and i'm having issues with
the network interfaces with this motherboard and the sound card. This
is a driver issue clearly so I just wanted to notify the organization
about the hardware i'm using.
Thanks,
