Have the same problem. It's just that xorg.conf gets overridden by something. Evrytime i reboot my screen is down to 600 something. I have a 1280x800 nvidia laptop. The problem occurs when I tried connecting a projector trough displayconfig, and it sets the resolution to 600. But then displayconfig crashes everytime I start it, so it can't be reverted. Have to do it through nvidia-settings without being able to see the whole window, byt just tabbing and guessing..
The odd thing is that reverting to original xorg.conf doesn't help. Where are these settings kept? Xorg says the resolution should be 1280, but it's not. -- Resolution settings losses its settings every time I reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150061 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
