The clamav version is Feisty (where this bug was originally reported)
has some serious startup issues, so it makes complete sense that this is
no longer a problem. Anyone still using Feisty, I recommend enabling
feisty-backports and installing the updated clamav and dansguardian
there. That should solve this problem (and bring your clamav up to the
same version released with Hardy).
