*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 202933 ***

Pardon, I spoke too soon. If I am looking at the right line, it appears
that Hardy was released with the offending redirection modified to:
logsave -s $FSCK_LOGFILE fsck -C3 -R -A $fix $force $FSCKTYPES_OPT
>/dev/console 2>&1 3>$PROGRESS_FILE &
So stderr is redirected to stdout, while fd 3 is logged. Is this known to be a
satisfactory fix? If it is, can someone mark this as resolved?
Note that #202933 was marked 'Fix released' but it isn't clear to a casual
Launchpadder that said fix definitely made it into Hardy.
(Pardon all the noise!)
