Just a warning - the xmodmap fix isn't complete. It won't let you use combinations like shift+del. (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/181057/comments/28 ) The real fix is to modify the /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/30-keymap-acer.fdi file, like in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/181057/comments/35
