Pedro, I am currently using the production release of 8.04 Desktop after a successful upgrade. Before upgrading I tested the LiveCD and I did not have the same issues as I did with the Release Candidate. You may close this defect if you'd like. However, if you would like me to test again I can try to find the old iso and send the log file. Please let me know if you would still like to continue work on this.
