Public bug reported: After updating my edgy system, I have a problem with the wxwidgets interface to VLC.
Instead, I have a skinned interface (skin2). It was unusable until I removed my ~/.vlc folder. Since the preferences window uses the wx interface, there is no way to configure VLC. I have the following error message on the terminal: [00000288] main dialogs provider error: no dialogs provider module matched "any" [00000285] skins2 interface error: no suitable dialogs provider found (hint: compile the wxWidgets plugin, and make sure it is loaded properly) ** Affects: vlc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- no wxwidget interface https://launchpad.net/bugs/66221 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
