Hi Leann, I had downloaded the BETA version of hardy. In fact, the installation progress won't reach the end. Now I've done the same to the official release of hardy and this 'bug' is not there anymore. Installation was correctly done. Also, I've downloaded the ACD just to answer your question. after this, U7.10 was installed and then the upgrade process finished up successfully. BUT - I think it's important to note here - after that, the system had a very very weird behavior when using apps like firefox, OOo and The GIMP, the system stopped responding sometimes, keeping my HDD busy for almost 12 seconds. It happened mostly with firefox3b5. I've sent a Bug Report to them about this, in case this has something to do with the fact it's still a BETA version of FF3. And I thought it was worth to mention it here because it happens so randomly with GIMP. However, I will study the system behavior looking for something wrong and if I find anything suspected, I will let you guys know.
Also, sorry for taking so god damn long to send this feedback. For some reason (that my ISP can not figure out),I got the Alternate @1.4KBps. It took so long and I am trying to send intel-related issues to xorg ML... I can try the Hardy BETA ACD if you still want the dmesg output though. Regards.
