Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: qcad

I have 5 different systems using AMD x2 processors (4600's and 6400's),
each with one or two printers (usually one HP laserjet and one USB
multifunction) connected to each. All printers are correctly configured,
available, and working flawlessly from every other application included
with the up-to-date/patched 8.04-amd-64 versions they are running. The
version of QCAD is the latest available as of today and was installed
with synaptic from an Ubuntu Repository. I *reinstalled* the qcad
package 30 minutes ago to check for corrupted downloads etc with no
change.

I have had no other problems with the qcad program so far other than NO
PRINTERS listed.

$ uname -r

$ lsusb

$ lpq

no entries

(qcad_2.0.5.0-1-2ubuntu1_amd64.deb)

$ apt-cache policy qcad
qcad:
  Installed: 2.0.5.0-1-2ubuntu1
  Candidate: 2.0.5.0-1-2ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 2.0.5.0-1-2ubuntu1 0

        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

See screenshot of print dialog box attached. Same on every system tried
here-no joy.

DC
