Public bug reported: Binary package hint: shorewall-perl
The current version of shorewall-perl, and probably shorewall-shell, has problems when using the builtin QoS capability due a bug of the current iproute distributed with Hardy stable. I have already filed a bug for iproute: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/iproute/+bug/226307 but there are workarounds available for the described problem. It is a matter of deciding where the solution to this problem will go, in the shorewall package or in iproute. A fix for previous versions of shorewall is described here (See #2): http://www.shorewall.com.au/3.4/shorewall-3.4.7/known_problems.txt I haven't tested if it works with the current version. ** Affects: shorewall-perl (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Using builtin QoS capability broken due to iproute bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226312 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
