- Is other sound playing... sound effects, non-mp3 music in Amarok?
- Can you attach the actual error message your receiving (just copy and paste
them)
If you have somewhat of a technical background... open up a konsole:
cd /usr/lib/amarok
sudo ./install_mp3
This is the script that amarok calls in to install the mp3 plugin. And
if that doesn't work:
sudo bash -x ./install_mp3
and attach the complete output here.
