I have a similar problem with Intel 3945 (laptop) and Ralink 2500(desktop computer). Each one is in a different computer and both are using hardy. They enter in a loop. But in my case with intel 3945 it never connects and with Ralink 2500 it sometimes connects but for a limited period of time.
I'm trying to connect to a wpa preshared key wireless net I attach a part of the syslog exit of Intel 3945. I've been searching and I tried to create the file /etc/modprobe.d/iwl3945 and put inside: options iwl3945 hwcrypto=1 but it has no effects. If you need more information tell me and sorry about my English :p ** Attachment added: "syslog.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/14205592/syslog.txt -- Intel 3945: authentication loop when wireless switched on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226414 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
