I installed Google Earth on Ubuntu 8.04 which was installed on winda
professional running on Dell Precision laptop (if that matters).
The GE installation went fine, but when I tried to start it, I was
redirected to Ubuntu login screen.
Google Earth runs well on my dedicated Ubuntu installation.
