Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: network-manager
1)
Description: Ubuntu 8.04
Release: 8.04
2)
network-manager:
Installed: 0.6.6-0ubuntu5
Candidate: 0.6.6-0ubuntu5
Version table:
*** 0.6.6-0ubuntu5 0
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
3) Network manager behaves and doesn't eat up all my ram.
4) After leaving the computer on for several days, the NetworkManager process
consumes over 1GB memory. This requires a reboot every few days to free up
memory. This has happend every time I left my notebook on for a few days at a
time.
Below you see that NM is consuming 1.1GB memory.
