Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: dosemu
Dosemu enables old MSDOS software to be used from within Ubuntu. When I
upgraded to Hardy Heron, Dosemu ceased to launch from the Applications
Menu (System Tools), or from a desktop icon - just nothing happens when
I click on the icon. I have to launch it from the command line which
is tedious. Uninstalling and re-installing Dosemu (from All Available
Applications) doesn't solve the problem. I got this problem both with
an upgrade from Gutsy to Hardy, and a clean install of Hardy. It worked
ok with Gutsy but not with Hardy. I have had this problem with some
earlier versions of Ubuntu. In fact, I've only been able to install
Dosemu once (in Gutsy), where I got a menu and desktop icon that would
launch the program.
