Hi, I'm having a similar problem. - Trying to mount /dev/sdb1 (which is a ext3 external hard drive partition, connected by firewire). - Has always mounted with no problems in the past. - Getting same error as above "Cannot mount volume..." etc. - Rebooted with no success - Have checked out http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=766190 which is a similar issue - steps there didn't help - "tune2fs -l" shows: Last mounted on: <not available> Filesystem state: clean Last write time: Sun May 4 13:53:39 2008 ...among other things
Is there a solution - the files are EXTREMELY important to me. -- Cannot mount the volume. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226215 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
