Binary package hint: openoffice.org-base

1) The release of Ubuntu I am using: Ubuntu 8.04 - Hardy Heron
2) The version of the package I am using: openoffice.org2-base 1:2.4.0-3ubuntu6
3) What I expected to happen:
When I submit the raw query "SELECT COUNT(*) AS C FROM LOCAT;", the query 
window should show C=5.
4) What happened instead:
All OpenOffice windows disappeared, a warning appeared "These documents will be 
restored next time".
