Thanks for your fast answer and for the informations you provide. Can you actually provide dmesg, uname-a and version.log when booting from Hardy LiveCD? These logs need you to boot from the version of ubuntu which has the issue.
Also since Gutsy worked correctly with your computer, I think that the best solution for you (unfortunately) would be to come back to Gutsy and wait for Intrepid Ibex to see if this bug is fixed. We can expect a very high quality kernel for the next ubuntu release so maybe that this regression will be fixed, the more important is to give relevant informations about your actual problem so the kernel team can take a look at it. Note that you can access and save all your files to a external media using the ubuntu LiveCD before re-installing. -- Not booting after upgrade to Hardy Heron https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226558 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
