Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Hey,
I'm using Hardy and the problem I'm experiencing happens with Rhythmbox
version 0.11.5-0ubuntu6.
Let me describe the situation:
I have 2 desktops (both running Windows XP) and a notebook (running
Hardy). Both desktops have a Windows Share called 'Mp3' where I store
the musics I have on it. If I try to add these files in the Rhythmbox
playlist by opening the application and then clicking on the menu "Music
-> Import File" it works like a charm, but when I try to play the music
using the "context menu" (maybe that's not the proper term, in Windows I
think people call it Shell Extensions) the application tries to start
but then closes almost instantly and I can see this message in
/var/log/messages:
kernel: [ 455.479155] rhythmbox[7117]: segfault at 00000008 eip
08062f56 esp bfe3a890 error 4
I'm willing to provide more info if needed, just point me how to get it.
