Make sure you have at least 384MB of RAM and boot the "Try Ubuntu" option from the CD. Run the installer until it gives you the message about being unable to create a filesystem in the partition, then open the web browser and attach /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman to this bug. Make sure you do this from the installation environment.
This of course assumes you're using the desktop CD.
