Seems to be related to bug #225532.
Robbert, did you manually modify your locale settings?
Can you attach the output of the following command on a terminal:
$ locale
** Changed in: system-config-printer (Ubuntu)
Assignee: (unassigned) => Pascal De Vuyst (pascal-devuyst)
Status: New => Incomplete
