Thank you for reporting this bug. Could you please recheck the issue with a
Hardy Live CD and if the problem still appears attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log
(of the LiveCD of course) and the output of "lspci -vvnn".
Does it even happen if compiz is disabled?
