I already gave it a shot with the nslookup on the linux box...same
results as windows. Tried the other suggestions, and pretty much the
same results as Jochen. This issue has been around since Feisty,
looking at post prior to the release of Hardy, Novel was aware of the
bug and planned to address it in version 2.22, however the problem still
obviously persists (I'm also running Linux Mint 4.0 on my work
PC...which is essentially just Gutsy, with the previous version of
Evolution installed...same issue). Pawel's solution is the only one
I've ever seen mentioned after 4 months researching the issue. To be
honest I find it frustrating that the importance level has been
undecided for over a year? I'll be really frank, Outlook sucks, and
Exchange is not my favorite server to deal with ever. Evolution is far
from perfect, but it's a start. The fact still remains, to
realistically deploy Ubuntu in a business enviroment it needs an "Apples
to Apples" Outlook replacement/killer that will support existing
infrastructure (that means Exchange, and especially Calendar functions).
I'm all for dropping M$'s gear like a bad habit, but being realistic,
things have to happen in a steady progression when dealing with an
established network. The project I was working on (which was to build
Ubuntu replacement workstations for our business) has been put on hold,
mostly due to again, no 100% "feature complete" Outlook replacement
(Thunderbird and Lightning aren't going to cut it either). So that's
that. By the way if you find yourself in the same situation save
yourself a month of work and DO NOT attempt to deploy Exchange 07 front
end expecting the web interface to solve your woes...all the new
features only work with IE7 and above (Thanks M$), any other browser
your going to have the same interface as Webmail 03, so not much point
in trying to pull it off.

This is a fairly small tick in an otherwise good program (Evolution that
is.....we all know Ubuntu is great). I really can't understand how it's
taken so long for anyone to address. I know it's more a Novel issue,
but at this point now that it's included in Hardy (and the bug has been
around since well before it's release) someone has got to take a long
look at the code and find out what the trouble is. Here is a link to a
thread regarding other evolution-exchange connector issues, that seems
to be being responded to by a Novel tech working on the connector.
http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg06436.html

Also here is a link to the "changelog" for Evolution. If you look down
to version 2.21.92, the "Subscribe to" issue was listed as a
fix...apparently it wasn't much of one.

I hope the information helps, past keeping steady pressure on the Novel
team, and Hardy (who in turn will keep pressure on Novel one would hope)
to refine the connector, I'm out of idea's as to a probable solution.
