I did a clean install of Hardy (realeased version) and experience similar problems.
For example running man: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc$ man ifconfig man: can't set the locale; make sure $LC_* and $LANG are correct locale command returns [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc$ locale locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory LANG=en_US.UTF-8 LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8" LC_NUMERIC="en_US.UTF-8" LC_TIME=en_DK.UTF8 LC_COLLATE="en_US.UTF-8" LC_MONETARY="en_US.UTF-8" LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8" LC_PAPER="en_US.UTF-8" LC_NAME="en_US.UTF-8" LC_ADDRESS="en_US.UTF-8" LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.UTF-8" LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.UTF-8" LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.UTF-8" LC_ALL= I have reconfigured/reinstalled locale but that did not work. -- error when opening the K3b program: "System locale charset is ANSI_X3.4-1968" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/179150 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
