Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tracker
In the Applet Preferences there is an option called "Hide Icon" once this is selected the icon won't appear in the system tray. There is no option in tracker-preferences to show the icon and because the icon isn't in the tray there is no way to get back into Applet Preferences once it is hidden. I had to edit .config/tracker/tracker-applet.cfg by hand to change "AutoHideIcon" back to false. BTW, I'm using Ubuntu 8.04. I've also filed this bug upstream at: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=532050 ** Affects: tracker (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- No way to change icon Visibility once hidden https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/227958 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
