After upgrading to KDE 4.0.4 on Kubuntu 8.04 I have massive problems
with it. When I logout and login afterwards the session does not start
correctly. The virtual desktop icon on the lower right only shows 1
desktop, the tray applications do not start at all and the window
manager also does not start.
In KDM the background image is missing. It seems like 4.0.4 was released
completely untested.
