  When I close the lid of my laptop, X "hangs" when I reopen it. The
  desktop is visable, but I cannot move the mouse-pointer or use the
  keyboard.
  
- While searching though the known bugs in LP, I came across #138256.
- Here's what I did:

+ followed the instructions there, but noticed that when  "Automatic
+ Login" is enabled, the issue still appears. Disabling "Automatic Login"
+ combined with the instructions in #138256 resolves the issue.
  
- I added `Option "ForceEnablePipeA" "true"` in xorg.conf (as destribed in
- #138256). Then I did a "Control-Alt-Backspace",  entered the requested
- credentials, closed the lid, reopened lid. The issue was gone, and I was
- able to work in X again.
- 
- After that, I rebooted, waited until the desktop appeared (I have
- autologin enabled), closed the lid, reopened lid. Surprisingly X hang
- again.

- So my workaround for now is:
