Hi Colin,

'ntfsfix' did not fix it either. Here is the output:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo ntfsfix /dev/sda2
[sudo] password for akshay:
Mounting volume... OK
Processing of $MFT and $MFTMirr completed successfully.
NTFS volume version is 3.1.
NTFS partition /dev/sda2 was processed successfully.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$

My feeling is, that this has something to do with my recovery partition
(sony vaio) begin physically before all other partitions. Of course, this is
just a gut feeling with no other foundation.
