I reindexed twice after installing hardy (and after having deleted any tracker config file). Then tracker worked for me nicely for a month or so. Yesterday it was deadlocked and I had to kill trackerd. I don't know why it was deadlocked (maybe related to new gvfs and fuse mounts?) however after having killed tracker, even after a reboot, the only results shown are for e-mails. I am now reindexing.
