Taking a look at this bug, I cannot find anything that installs lilo in u-v-b.
The questions asked does speak about Lilo, only as a reminded, and seems to be
presented only because the initial kernel-img.conf does not contain "do_initrd
= Yes".
Can you confirm that we are talking about the same thing?
