Thanks. I don't assume anything. It's quite hard to guess the causes of
a crash when you're not behind the PC. So we need to eliminate the most
common source for this kind of issue. That's why I've asked you to turn
off ACPI.

For the sake of completeness can you attach the following files to your report:
    *  uname -a > uname-a.log
    *  dmesg > dmesg.log
    *  sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log
    * /var/log/Xorg.0.log 
    * /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old after a crash
    * /etc/X11/xorg.conf

After a crash see if there is any backtrace in /var/log/kern.log.0 (or
/var/log/kern.log). Please attach this file if anything was captured.
